THE INAUGURAL VOLUME · COMING SOON
There is a tendency to think of becoming as something with an ending. A point at which we finally arrive, settle into ourselves, and recognize the life we've worked so hard to create.
But life rarely unfolds that neatly.
We change our minds. We outgrow familiar places. We discover new interests, revisit old dreams, and find ourselves beginning again in ways we never anticipated.
Sometimes change is unmistakable. Other times, it happens so quietly that we only recognize it when we look back.
Becoming, the inaugural volume of Collected, is an exploration of those moments. Through essays, intimate conversations, thoughtful photography, and carefully curated discoveries, this edition considers what it means to grow into a life that feels increasingly like our own.
Not necessarily a perfect life. Not even the life we once imagined. Just one we're learning to recognize, appreciate, and make our own.
“There is something worth collecting in every season.”COLLECTED · VOLUME 01
An exploration of the people, spaces, objects, and experiences that shape who we are and who we are becoming.
Conversations and personal reflections on identity, relationships, motherhood, creativity, and the unexpected directions our lives take.
A look at the spaces we inhabit and the ways they evolve alongside us. Because creating a home is rarely a finished project, and beauty doesn't require perfection.
An exploration of personal style, self-expression, and rediscovering what feels like you when life has changed.
A celebration of small traditions, familiar comforts, meaningful conversations, and the everyday practices that quietly become the fabric of our lives.
A thoughtful selection of books, beautiful objects, meaningful finds, and little luxuries worth making room for.
The editorial collection is currently taking shape. Featured stories and contents will be revealed as the volume develops.
I've always been interested in the little details that make a life feel personal.
The book someone keeps beside their bed. The way a room changes over time. The stories behind objects we refuse to part with. The conversations we remember long after they've ended.
So much of what we experience is fleeting, but certain things stay with us.
I created Collected as a place to give those things a little more attention. And for our first volume, I couldn't think of a more fitting subject than becoming.
Not because I have everything figured out. Quite the opposite.
I've learned that change doesn't always arrive with clarity. Sometimes we're building something beautiful while simultaneously letting go of what we thought our lives would look like. Sometimes we're becoming someone new without realizing it.
My hope is that you'll find something in these pages that makes you pause, look around, remember, or see an ordinary part of your life in a slightly different way.
Because I believe there is something worth collecting in every season.
Some stories deserve more than a moment on a screen.
Collected was imagined as a physical object from the very beginning. Something to leave on the coffee table, return to on a quiet afternoon, and rediscover years later.
Published twice a year, each volume brings together editorial storytelling, original imagery, and considered design in a collection intended to be experienced slowly.
Not simply another thing to consume. Something to live with.
The first volume is taking shape, and I'd love for you to be part of its beginning.
