A Note from Ashley
The work has changed. The instinct behind it has not.
I’ve always been curious about how things work, why they work that way, and whether there might be a more thoughtful way to do them. That curiosity has taken me through operations, technology, entrepreneurship, and writing.
Different disciplines, certainly, but the work I enjoy most usually involves the same things: making a complicated problem clearer, building something useful, and leaving room for creativity. The question underneath it is often the same:
How can this become more useful, more beautiful, and more meaningful?
I’m equally interested in the systems that make a business run smoothly and the stories that make a life worth remembering. This site is where those interests meet.
